From now until May 7 fans have the chance to earn some special rewards viaAnimalCrossing: New Horizons' May Day maze. These rewards include a number of Bell Vouchers as well as a new decorative item calledRover’s Briefcase, and some of these items can only be earned by fully completing the May Day maze inACNH. Fortunately, if a fan finds themselves stuck while making their way through the maze, it is possible to restart it and have another go.

To restart the May Day maze inAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsa fan must simply select the “! Rescue Service” application from within their Nook Phone. This will initiate a brief dialogue in which players are notified that it costs 100 Nook Miles to resetACNH’s May Day maze, and fans that agree to pay this fee will promptly be taken back to the beginning of an untouched maze.

To note, even if a a player reaches Rover and completesAnimal Crossing: New Horizons' May Day maze there may still be a reason to reset. Specifically, there are fiveBell Vouchersthat fans can access only after finishing the maze, but they will need to break three rocks to get to them. As players will know at this point, breaking rocks requires fruit, and a reset may be desirable for fans that reach the end of the May Day maze without three fruit left.

While theMay Day maze inACNHmay not be everything that some fans had hoped for from this new event, it is a nice little piece of content none the less. Not only does it reward fans with Bells, it also lets them encounter Rover for the very first time inNew Horizons. Considering the blue cat’s popularity, this is something that many players will certainly be excited about, and they will even get to walk away from the May Day maze with a memento to remember Rover by.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning that May Day is not the onlyAnimal Crossing: New Horizonseventscheduled for this month. Indeed, International Museum Day will come toACNHin just over two weeks, and it does seems that it will be a more elaborate offering than the ongoing May Day event.

Animal Crossing: New Horizonsis out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
