The new Density Enchantment was added toMinecraftin the version 1.21 update on both Java and Bedrock editions. This is the first new enchantment added toMinecraftin a while, and it’s unique because it is only available on Mace weapons. Here’s how the Density Enchantment inMinecraftworks as well as how you can get it and what to do with it.
How to get the Density Enchantment
Like most Enchantments inMinecraft, you’ll need to use an Enchanting Table to get the Density Enchantment on your weapon. You can only get the Density Enchantment on a Mace weapon, as this enchantment is exclusive to Maces only and will not work on other weapons like the Sword.
you may also find the Density Enchantment already enchanted in the form of Enchanted Books throughout the new Ominous Vaults added inMinecraft1.21. They also spawn in various other structures that have always generated Enchanted Books as loot in previous versions, making it easier to find.

What does the Density Enchantment do inMinecraft?
The new Density Enchantment inMinecraft1.21 increases the damage you deal with the Mace it is enchanted on based on how many blocks you fall before using the weapon. By design, you’re supposed to jump off high-up locations before hitting enemies with weapons using the Density Enchantment, as it will deal increased damage with each block.
Here’s how much damage per block fallen that each level of the Density Enchantment does inMinecraft:

With the Level 5 Density Enchantment on your Mace, you can jump from a few blocks and one-shot most enemies inMinecraft, making this a very powerful enchantment worth putting on your best Mace. It takes some getting used to, but once you get used to taking advantage of jumping from higher locations, you can really mow through some enemies using the Density Enchantment inMinecraft.
