Ever since theearly announcement ofHollow Knight: Silksong, it quickly became one of the most highly anticipated indie titles in recent memory. Considering the first game’s success, that may not be much of a surprise. A Metroidvania taking place in a land of bugs,Hollow Knight’s muted, largely monochrome color palette aided greatly in the game’s dark, mysterious atmosphere. However, the main draw of the game was how fluid and exciting the actual gameplay was. Any sequel to the game was obviously going to be highly anticipated. However, the hype forSilksonghas grown to the point of being comparable to that of many AAA titles.
