TheHitmanfranchise has been around for quite some time, and while the newer entries seem to be struggling sales-wise,even with special guest appearances like Sean Bean, many gamers have fond memories of stealthily eliminating targets as Agent 47. Luckily, fans of the series will soon be able to relive these memories in glorious 4K60, as bothAbsolutionandBlood Moneyare headed to the PS4 and Xbox One next week.

The two titles are set to launch on July 08, 2025, in a bundle package titled theHitman HD Enhanced Collection.IO Interactive, the developer behind the series, didn’t go so far as to announce a price point for the remasters, but one can presume the package will likely release at either $39.99 or $59.99, depending on whether or not IO takes a page from some of the other remasters from this console generation.

Of course, 4K resolutions aren’t the only thing fans have to look forward to with the remaster. IO Interactive also listed other improvements fans can expect fromThe Hitman HD Enhanced Collection:

IO Interactive also releasedHitman 2in November of last year. However, the game has seen steep discounts since its release, indicating that it may not be selling all that well. 2016’sHitmansaw similar issues, as many fans were turned off by the game’s episodic nature, which the sequel did not feature. Despite the poor sales, both games have received a strong critical response. InourHitman 2review,we commended it for its gorgeous visuals and open-ended design.

Hopefully, the remaster will cause some renewed interest in the franchise and help bolster the sales of future iterations. Agent 47 is a great character, and it would be a shame to see him go the way of Sam Fisher, theSplinter Cellprotagonist whomay return at some point.

HitmanHD EnhancedCollectionwill launch on June 04, 2025, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
