It has been a long time since Capcom started working on the highly-anticipatedResident Evil 2remake, and after the publisher and developer announced there would be playable trial, fans have been waiting in anticipation forthe game’s demo. While the short, “One-Shot” demo officially goes live on Jun 19, 2025 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, there is a way to play it today for fans who cannot wait.

Since the demo is available in Australia already, fans outside of the country who would like to try out theResident Evil 2demo sooner can simply change their territory to Australia to gain access to it. Players will only be able to play it once for the time limit of 30 minutes, and once the time limit has expired, it’s over for good. So, it is advised to not spend too much time sight-seeing and wandering around in the game.
