Since her first appearances in a couple of update previews, Yae Miko has become one of the mostpopularGenshin Impactcharacters. The latest animatedGenshin Impacttrailer tells players a lot about Yae Miko, from her backstory to her lifestyle. The shrine maiden of the Grand Nurakami Shrine is a mysterious and intelligent character. She’s the chief editor of her own publishing house, so Yae Miko spends her days reading novels from other writers, and overseeing the work of her editors.
Yae’s elemental burst will cause lightning dealing AoE electro damage. Upon using her elemental burst, Yae Miko releases all Lethal Sakura nearby which will morph into Tenko Thunderstrike dealing AoE electro damage. She has also been rumored to be one of thestrongestGenshin ImpactDPS characters, on par with Hu Tao, Xiao, and Ganyu. AnotherGenshin Impactleak has revealed four out of six constellations for this character:
The fact that her ascension stat is Crit rate means that she will most likely be a DPS character in the game which is unusual for a Catalyst user. She is also confirmed to be a new Electro Vision holder. Her elemental skill will allow her to move rapidly, leaving behind “Lethal Sakura” which periodically deals damage to one nearby enemy. This means that she could also havestrong sub-DPS capabilities.
Genshin Impactis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is currently in development with no confirmed release date.
