Developer HoYoverse has confirmed the arrival of the new Dendro element which means that there will be an additional Elemental Resonance once the new update arrives.Genshin Impacthas officially confirmed the upcoming adjustments for some elemental resonances.

A new post on the official HoYoverse forum named HoYoLAB reveals the Elemental Resonance effect for theupcoming Dendro elementas well as the changes to Electro and Hydro resonances. According to the post, the upcoming update will introduce the following changes to elemental resonances:
The Elemental Mastery buff on the Dendro element does not come as a surprise considering that many of the new elemental reactions scale with this stat. According to recent leaks and the officialGenshin Impactversion 3.0live stream, the new Dendro element will introduce six new elemental reactions which will have a significant impact on the game’s combat system.
Players seem overall happy with the new changes claiming that they would like to see similar adjustments to existing elements in the future as they can have the potential to shift thecharacter meta inGenshin Impact. Multiple replies claim that the 25% HP increase on the Hydro Resonance will propel a big number of Hydro users to the S-tier.
Most healers inGenshin Impactuse their max. HP to scale their healing abilities which means that this could be an indirect buff for them. The changes to the Electro Resonance are not as significant, but they will resolve some issues for Electro team compositions that have Energy problems. All the changes are expected to go live once the newGenshin Impactupdate 3.0 arrives on August 24.
Genshin Impactis now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
