Developer HoYoverse has revealed several of the Nod-Krai characters forGenshin Impact6.0 and the following patches, expected to be introduced gradually over the upcoming year of content – some of which have confirmed rumors and speculation.Version 6.0 will be the big annual patch that will introduce you to Nod-Krai, a subregion within the Nation of Snezhnaya, which mayextendGenshin Impact’s roadmap by a full year.
Currently, the game is set to enter Version 5.8 soon, the final patch before Version 6.0. Even so, there have already been a fewleaks about theGenshin Impact6.X character banners, teasing what you may expect in terms of roster expansion during the next few months. Now,some of these characters have been confirmed, while others were first shown in a teaser trailer shared on the officialGenshin Impactchannel on YouTube.
Nicole Reeyn Is A Hexenzirkel Witch
The Witch Uses The Codename “N”
The Hexenzirkel witch Nicole Reeyn was finally confirmed as a new character in Nod-Krai, and later showcased in a post by HoYoverse on the officialGenshin Impactaccount on X. It’s unclear what role she will play in the story, but Nicole does have an understanding about the ancient past of Teyvat.
As seen in the teaser trailer and the post,Nicole is a white woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. With the codename “N,” she also has elongated ear tips, much like an elf’s. and wears light blue clothing and a beret.
Aino Has A Confirmed Connection To Ineffa
The Nod-Krai Character Has Pink Hair
Teased in previous Nod-Krai teasers and shown to a longer extent in the new video and the post on X, Aino is a new character related to the upcoming patch.Details about Aino are still unknown, but she is an acquaintance of Ineffa, thenew character inGenshin Impact5.8.
Aino is a young pink-haired girl with a somewhat bland expression who wears an oversized green jacket.It’s likely we’ll learn more about Aino in Version 6.0, as soon as we arrive in Nod-Krai.
Varka Is The Grand Master Of The Knights Of Favonius
The Character Is Confirmed To Be An Anemo Claymore Unit
It was already known that the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius had gone to Nod-Krai, but the newest teasers have now shownVarka’s design inGenshin Impactto full extent.He is expected to have deep significance to the Nod-Krai story arc.
Varka is an adult human man with blonde hair and a Mondstadt-like coat. He is known to use a claymore, as he can be seen wielding the Wolf’s Gravestone.Varka can be seen wearing an Anemo Vision.
Jahoda Is A Mysterious Girl
The Character Is Interested In Durin’s Headpiece
Revealed for the first time via the teaser and then further shown in a post on the officialGenshin Impacton X,Jahoda is a new character with ties to Ineffa and Aino. She is a young girl with blonde hair, rose-colored glasses, and a black beanie with cat-like ears.
It’s uncertain if Jahoda will have much significance to the larger story arc in the region, but she does seem like one of the first Nod-Krai characters that you’ll meet once you set foot in the area. It’s not possible to see what Vision she bears.
Durin Has A Human Form In Nod-Krai
The Dragon Was Created By Rhinedottir
The long-rumored human form of Durin, the dragon created by Rhinedottir, has also been confirmed as a character in Nod-Krai. It’s unclear exactly how he will participate in the story, but his role may be very significant.
Durin’s human form inGenshin Impactis represented by a young boy with pink hair, dark clothing, and dragon-like horns on the top of his head.Based on the teaser trailer, it seems like Durin wears an Electro Visionon the back part of his outfit.
Sandrone Is The Fatui Harbinger Known As Marionette
The Harbinger Calls The Frostmoon Scions A “Rebellion”
The Fatui HarbingerSandrone, also called Marionette, was featured in HoYoverse’s promo materials as a Nod-Krai character. Shown in what seems like an industrial facility, Sandrone is held by her large puppet.
Sandrone is one of the multipleFatui Harbingers leaked forGenshin Impact’s Nod-Krairegion, which include Dottore, as well as Columbina.The Marionette seems to despise the Frostmoon Scions, calling the faction a “laughably futile rebellion.”
Lauma Is A Dendro Character
The Nod-Krai Character Is Connected To The Frostmoon Scions
Lauma, who was already teased individually prior to the new trailer and post onGenshin Impact’s X account, isan emissary of Hyperborea and a devoted member of the Frostmoon Scions. The character has stag-like horns on her head and an elegant dress.
Following the first teaser confirming Lauma as anewGenshin ImpactNod-Krai character,it was revealed that she has a Dendro Vision. Lauma may be one of the first 5-star units to debut in Version 6.0, but this has yet to be confirmed.
Nefer Is A Storyteller
The Nod-Krai Character Is An Acquaintance To Varka
First appearing in the teaser trailer and the posts on social media, Nefer is said to be a storyteller. When Aino speaks to Varka, she says that Nefer is about to tell a story. Later,Nefer is seen speaking with Varka directly, questioning the reason he went to Nod-Krai.
Nefer has green hair, eyes, and clothing, as well as elegant golden adornments. It’s unclear what she will bring to the Nod-Krai arc, but given her connection to Varka, she may be more important than she seems.
Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins Has Immense Power

Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins, best known as Flins, is one of the most mysterious characters from the new teaser content for Nod-Krai.The character does not seem to have a direct connection to any specific character. The dark-haired character carries a lamp with him.
In the image shared,Flins is seen surrounded by purple lightning bolts, which could indicate his affinity with the Electro element. However, in the teaser trailer, he is seen conjuring a blue explosion, which could instead hint at affinity with the Pyro element.
Columbina Is A Fatui Harbinger
The Character Is Called Moon Maiden
The Third of the Fatui Harbingers, Columbina, was also teased in the trailer and in a post on theGenshin Impactaccount on X. The character can be seen gently strolling through a field of flowers under the moonlight.While she does have a role in the group, she is not referred to as a Fatui Harbinger.
Instead,Columbina is presented as the Moon Maiden. There is a chance she may have some sort of connection with the Frostmoon Scions, and this could put her up against Sandrone. Her Vision or Delusion and weapon type weren’t teased.
Alice Finally Makes Her Debut
The Hexenzirkel Witch Has Been Teased For Years
After years of only appearing through voice notes and mentions in other characters’ observations,the Hexenzirkel witch Alice has finally had her full design presented. The blonde character has an elegant red dress, which in many ways resembles Klee’s alternate outfit.
Alice, whose codename is “A,” wears a distinctive golden hat with red elements. Hanging from it is a Pyro Vision, confirming the years-long speculation that she would be a Pyro unit like her daughter inGenshin Impact.
