Tiltify is partnering with popularTwitchstreamers across the globe to help with donations under the hashtag #clausmycause, supporting smaller, lesser-knownTwitchstreamers who are making donations to various charities this holiday season.

Streamers include BigCheeseKit, Critical Bard, Alanah Pearce, and  jacksepticeye, who was recently involved in a charity stream that raised over$1.4 million for the Thankmas campaign. The #clausmycause event has well over a dozen streamers participating, and has already begun donating on behalf of Tiltify to several causes.

Earlier this week, Alanah Pearce participated in the event and live streamed the process. Pearce would visit random streamers using the hashtag and donate significant amounts of money, helping each streamer reach their goals and watching the genuine reactions of the recipients. Twitch is a vital tool in involving the gaming community with charities, as seen inPolygon’s Innocence Project charity Twitch streamearlier this month.

One such stream involved Smoking Dragons D&D, aDungeons & Dragonsgroup that regularly streamsPokemon-themed quests. With its donation goals met, two members of the team fulfilled promises made with certain donation tiers: one member shaved his beard, and another shaved his head.  The donations also involved viewers of Alanah’s stream, who would help raid the streams involved.

DrLupo, who recently announced thatfuture donations to his streams would strictly go to charity, is also participating in the cause as the Tiltify’s #clausmycause event continues. This holiday season, several popular streamers are still planning to livestream their donation raids, so those interested in the event can check out the event page for more details regarding who to follow onTwitchand how to stream if interested.
