Framework Is Selling B-Stock Laptops for Just $500

Framework is now selling a$500 barebones configurationof its Laptop 13. It’s the cheapest laptop ever offered by Framework, though it uses B-stock parts and a three-year-old Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor. And because it’s a barebones “Factory Seconds” model, RAM and other components must be purchased separately.

This version of the Framework Laptop 13 originally sold for $849. It launched in 2021 and introduced the world to Framework’s modular laptop system, which provides enhanced upgradeability, repairability, and user customization. Over the years, Framework has also found some creative ways toreuse and upcycleold components, meaning that a Framework device can still be useful after its role as a laptop comes to an end.
