TheFortniteSeason 7 Week 9 Legendary Quests have players performing a variety of tasks for Doctor Slone, one of which is to place Spy Probes. In total, fans will need to deploy three of these Probes, and those that do will be rewarded for their efforts. However, some players may be unclear about exactly where they are to place Spy Probes inFortnite, and this guide is here to offer some clarity on the matter.
Before getting into the precise locations of the Spy Probes, it is worth mentioning that there are actually more than three of them scattered acrossFortnite’s map. In fact, there are at least eight suitable sites for placing Probes, and they are all consolidated into thesouthwest quadrant of the map. While this abundance of Spy Probes means that players that focus their searches on that area should be able to find three of them quite easily, more specific details on their positions can be found below.
With respect to what players will find at these locations, the spots where the Spy Probes can be placed materialize as blue outlines of the device. This is sure to remind fans of one of the other Legendary Quests from this week, which centers around placing aBioscanner in an Alien Biome, and they simply need to interact with the outlines to deploy the Probes. After doing this three times, players will see that the challenge has been marked as complete and that they have been awarded 30,000 XP.
To note, a couple ofFortnite’s Week 9 Alien Artifactsare situated in the vicinity of the Spy Probes. Indeed, one of the Alien Artifact can be found inside of the aforementioned Satellite Station near Probe 6, while another can be found on the westside of Weeping Woods. While it is certainly not requisite that players collect these Artifacts while they are working on the “place Spy Probes” challenge, it may be a good opportunity to do so.
