With the arrival of Season 7,Epic Gamesintroduced a bevy of new skins to acquire in its wildly successful multiplayer sandbox survival shooter,FortniteBattle Royale, and it appears as if the studio is set to continue adding fresh costumes for the foreseeable future. As it so happens, the video game developer recently shared and quickly deleted a post revealing a new Blue Elf skin for players to obtain in the title.
The screenshot ofFortnite’s new Blue Elf skin comes by way of an Instagram story that got taken down shortly after Epic shared it on the social media platform, indicating that the cosmetic will be coming to the title soon. The outfit depicts a female elf with powder blue skin, icy wings, some festive garb, and a pair of black-rimmed glasses. As of now, there’s no word as to exactly when she will be added, or if there will be a male counterpart coming, too.
For those who haven’t been keeping up withFortnite’s development cycle as of late, Epic Games recently introduced a lot of seasonal changes to the free-to-play Battle Royale title, with one of the more popular additions being a freshwinter biomethat has snow covering a portion of the map. With this being the case, the arrival of the Blue Elf mentioned above will definitely fit in with the wintry theme that recently came about in Season 7.
Taking everything here into consideration, it’s a safe bet to make that the Blue Elf won’t be the last skin making its way intoFortniteBattle Royale during Season 7, especially with there being several more weeks left during this current content cycle. On Christmas day, theFortniteitem shop introduceda legendary skin named Glimmer, which bears a striking resemblance to the character Elsa from Disney’sFrozen.So, there’s a good chance we will see even more winter-themed gear like it and the Blue Elf make their way into the game as the weeks press on.
