Just in time for the holidays,Fortnitedeveloper Epic Games has teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to deliver a special bundle. Entitled Deep Freeze, this bundle settles well into the holiday theme and provides players with a number of unique, winter-related cosmetics. It will release on November 13 at the decent price of $29.99, and it comes with a physical retail version ofFortnitefor Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
It’s worth mentioning, however, that it will also be available digitally, for those who prefer to download it online. Nevertheless, beyond a physical copy of the game, this Deep Freeze bundle also comes with the following: Frostbite outfit, Cold Front glider, Chill-Axe pickaxe, Freezing Point back bling, and 1,000 V-bucks. It’s worth mentioning that this aesthetic works well in conjunction with theChiller trap.

For the uninitiated, this is actually a pretty good deal. For context, 1,000 V-bucks is the equivalent of $10 US dollars. In the store, a skin can go for up to 2,000 V-bucks (Chomp Sr.), a glider can go for 1,500 (Laser Chomp), and a pickaxe can go for 1,500 (Chomp Jr.) That totals up to 5,000 V-bucks, or the equivalent of $50 US dollars.
Assuming the bundled items are worth a similar amount, that means players are saving $10-20 dollars. Plus, players are getting $10 dollars back in in-game currency. It seems this bundle is marketed toward the holiday season, so it’s likely to do well as a gift for Christmas but not beforethe game delivers something for Halloween.
Nevertheless, until this bundle launches, players have plenty to keep this busy. For example, new challenges will go live later this week, andweek 3 challenges have already leaked. Moreover, players also have the quad launcher coming soon to look forward to. With everything going on in the game, it’s easy to see why this battle royale game is so popular.
Fortniteis available now in early access for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
