With the inclusion of a slew of fun new items like the recently addedShopping Cart, Epic Games has managed to keepFortnitefans coming back for more to explore all of the fresh content that continually makes its way into the wildly popular multiplayer sandbox survival shooter. Now, it looks as if yet another object is on the horizon, as a recent datamine has discovered that the developer plans to bring in Bounce Pads.

As seen in the tweet below from the TwoEpicBuddies Twitter account,Fortnite’s Bounce Pad has been found in the game’s files, and it “can be placed on walls, roofs, and the floor,” which ought to put a little extra pep in a player’s step. What’s more is that the aforementioned Shopping Cart items will get some sort of boost when those riding the mode of transportation hit them while out in the field.

For those unaware,Fortniteonce had Bounce Pads that were called “Directional” and “Up”, which most players will recognize as what is basically the Jump Pad that can be found within the free-to-play Battle Royale portion today. The one uncovered by TwoEpicBuddies, though, appears to be like a Bounce Pad that can be utilized in a way to quickly travel in one specific direction, as opposed to simply being able to hop incredibly high up into the air.

All things considered, with this having been discovered as a datamined item, there’s no telling when or if Bounce Pads will be making their way intoFortnite. After all, anEye of the Storm Trackerwas actually found in-game, but Epic took it out, stating that it was included unintentionally, and if even it has no guarantee of making the cut as a permanent or temporary item, then the fate of Bounce Pads is still indeterminate. Nevertheless, should Bounce Pads officially get added down the line, it’s safe to say that plenty ofFortnitefans would make good use of them.

Fortniteis available now in early access for iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
