The start of another month means more things to do inFate/Grand Order. Fresh from completing the first chapter in Part 2’s story,players haven’t had any events for nearly two weeks after theSaber Wars Rerunended. Thankfully, another old event is getting its revival in a few days: Sanzang Coming to the West.
Sanzang Coming to the West is a parody of Journey to the West from Chinese literature. In another Kinoko Nasu story, masters must help the monk Xuanzang Sanzang and her party of oddly familiarFate/Grand Orderservants complete their journey. Differing from most other events, there is only an event shop to clear besides the story. However, the event which runs from April 10th to April 20th is notorious for the amount of farming which needs to be done to fully complete it.

Story Progression
To advance the plot, players need to collect the Talisman of Merit currency obtainable from most free quests. 1285 Talismans must be gathered to unlock and complete the main story.
Event Shop
This time around, theevent shopfeatures items which can be exchanged for 4 different types of currency: Divine Pills, Immortal Peaches, Pork Buns, and Grand Lotuses. Purchasing everything requires players to gather 5000 Divine Pills, 4000 Immortal Peaches, 4900 Pork Buns, and a whopping 11400 Grand Lotuses from quests.
Servants
Fortunately, there are event servants which can increase the amount of a certain currency.
Event Craft Essences
Additionally, craft essences can also be obtained from the event and summoned from the gacha to increase different currency drops.

Because of the 6 different currencies that must be farmed during this event, thebest farming spotswill unlock later on after a certain story quest and require other currencies to repeat.
Note that the Six Paths of Reincarnation - Deva Realm can only be completed once.
