So far, Sony has been secretive when it comes to the PlayStation 5’s console design, and so fans have had to come up with their own ideas. Reddit user ruddi2020 is one such fan, recently creating a very impressive, sleekPS5console design that could pass as the real deal.
ruddi2020’s PS5 console design is inspired by the PS5 dev kits that leaked some months ago, combined with the aesthetic of theDualSense controller. According to ruddi2020, their PS5 console design allows for “maximum air flow” to deal with the cooling issues that such a powerful machine will likely struggle with. There are some additional details that fans may notice by taking a look at this PS5 console design concept as well.

It should be noted, however, that whileDying Light 2is confirmed for next-gen,Ghost of Tsushimais still a PlayStation 4 exclusive game at the time of this writing.
WhileGhost of Tsushimais currently a PS4 exclusive, those that purchase a PS5 will still be able to play it on their new console. That’s thanks to thePS5 backward compatibility feature, which will allow it to play most PS4 games at launch, though there will be some exceptions. Some had hoped that Sony may take the PS5’s backward compatibility a step further and make it possible for the machine to play PS3, PS2, and PS1 games as well, though that doesn’t seem to be happening.
ruddi2020’s PS5 console design concept is definitely impressive, but many fans may be hungry for the real deal. Unfortunately, it’s unclear whenSonywill properly unveil the real PS5 console design, as the company has made no announcements in regards to a potential reveal date.
It’s anyone’s guess as to when Sony will reveal the PS5, but a recent report suggests that Sony itself may not exactly know. Apparently,Sony is considering scrapping its PS5 reveal planthanks to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and so fans will just have to stay tuned for more information.
