A couple of days ago,Amazon Germany leaked the existence ofFallout Legacy Collection, which bundles almost all of theFalloutgames together for PC. Now Bethesda has officially confirmed thatFallout Legacy Collectionis indeed real, but the collection’s release comes with a major caveat.
It’s been confirmed by Bethesda that theFallout Legacy Collectionis exclusive to Germany and the UK. The collection will launch on October 25 in those regions, and it will featureFallout,Fallout 2,Fallout Tactics,Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition,Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, andFallout 4: Game of the Year Edition.Falloutfans in other territories will have to import theFallout Legacy Collectionif they want to play it, as Bethesda currently has no plans to release it elsewhere.

This is disappointing news forFalloutfans in other regions, as well as those on consoles. There had been some hope that theFallout Legacy Collectionwould bring the classicFalloutgames to somewhere other than PC, since they’re already readily available on the platform as individual purchases, but there doesn’t appear to be any plans to do that either.
WhileFalloutfans outside of Germany and the UK will have to miss out onFallout Legacy Collection, those who do live in a region where they can buy it are getting significant bang for their buck. This collection includes almosteveryFalloutgame and all their DLC, providing players easily hundreds of hours, if notthousandsof hours of content for roughly $40.
The twoFalloutgames that aren’t included in the collection areFallout ShelterandFallout 76.Fallout Shelteris a free-to-play game, so it makes sense why that’s not in the collection, though some fans are confused as to whyFallout 76isn’t included. It’s possible Bethesda decided to leave it out because of the generally poor reception to the game, though a more likely possibility is that Bethesda keptFallout 76out ofFallout Legacy Collectionbecause it’s a more recent release, having just launched last fall.
