About a week ago, Microsoft unveiled a specialFallout 76Xbox One X bundleduring its Inside Xbox presentation at gamescom 2018, putting the bundle up for pre-order shortly after the announcement was made. Now, the tech firm has also revealed a new white edition of its Xbox One X bundle with the post-apocalyptic multiplayer game, as well as a white hued Xbox One Elite controller, with both coming this fall.
According to Microsoft, theFallout 76Xbox One X bundle is colored “robot white” and is available for pre-order today for $500 exclusively at the Microsoft Store, with those who pre-order being the first to join the online beta before the multiplayer title’s release. Additionally, as seen in the video below, fans of the technology company can get a gander at the White Special Edition Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, which will ship to retailers worldwide starting on August 03, 2025, and is available for pre-order for $150 from both the Microsoft Store and GameStop.
While the whiteFallout 76Xbox One X bundle will likely only pique the curiosity of a select audience, it’s safe to presume that the entirety of the Xbox crowd would love to get their hands on the new white Xbox Elite controller. Aside from the color, though, it’s worth noting that there’s no difference between this new White Special Edition of the peripheral and the standard black and silver version. With this being the case, fans should expect the new controller to perform incredibly well, aspositive reviewspoured in for the original Elite peripheral after its release.
All things considered, it will be interesting to see how many Microsoft fans opt to not only purchase the whiteFallout 76Xbox One X bundle, but also the White Special Edition Xbox Elite Wireless controller to supplement the former’s inclusion of a single peripheral. At a combined total of $650, though, it will definitely be a high price for many to pay.
Fallout 76is set to launch on July 31, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while Microsoft’s White Special Edition Xbox Elite Wireless controller comes out on May 25, 2025.
