Fall Guysdeveloper Mediatonic is trying to build up hype for the battle royale game’s second season. Not only willFall Guysget new levels and costumes, but it’ll also be receiving new customization options for nicknames and nameplates. With all that exciting content in mind, Mediatonic announced Friday morning that Season 2 will launch directly after Season 1 ends in just a few short days. But there was another, less prominent announcement made aboutFall GuysSeason 2’s Fame Season battle pass, too.

In the Reddit thread forFall GuysSeason 2’s release date announcement, Lead Designer Joe Walsh dropped in to chat with fans. One of the top posts in the thread was discussing howfrustrating the grind to the battle pass' top level of 40became too much of a grind. Walsh replied that he and theFall Guysdevelopment team was “hearing the community loud and clear on this one.” To that effect, it will be much easier to climb to level 40 inFall GuysSeason 2’s battle pass.

Walsh even elaborates, revealing some insider knowledge about howFall Guysplayers were struggling to complete the battle pass. Walsh says that the team was initially too worried that players would max out theFame Seasontoo early. That’s why the scaling experience system is like it is, with the final levels requiring a ton of matches to level. Ultimately, this led to a different problem. Walsh says that fewer players than expected ended up completing the battle pass.

Suffice to say, there will be much for both returning and new players to discover inFall GuysSeason 2. And some of the biggest frustrations for players will be corrected, too. Fans will be able to tell for themselves withFall GuysSeason 2 starts on October 8, immediately after Season 1 ends.
