From TV shows to games, and some exclusive goodies for attending the World Championships, there are a lot of new things to get excited about. We’re also getting some exciting new Pokémon media outside of games that look like a real treat for fans of the franchise.

8Pokémon World Championships Exclusives

The Pokémon World Championships Has Unique Merchandise And Rewards

The first reveal from today’sPokémon Presentsare some exclusive items for attendees and participants of 2025’s Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim, California, which take place from August 15 to 17. For starters, all participants will be receiving a special version of the card Paradise Resort with unique art.

Top performing players will also receivethe Champions' line of merchandise. This includes an exclusive playmat, a bag, a jacket and a hat all with special logos for the world champions. While only a select few players will earn these, there is still some exclusives for all attendees.

All attendees will receivea digital code to get a Toedscool inPokémon ScarletandViolet. Toedscool is a mushroom Pokémon similar to Tentacool. Even if you aren’t attending Worlds in Anaheim this year, there are plenty more great Pokémon announcements to get excited about.

7A Look At New Pokémon Concierge Episodes

Pokémon Concierge’s New Episodes Release August 05, 2025

Netflix’sPokémon Conciergeseriesisreturning on July 11, 2025, with new episodes, and Pokémon Presents gave us a look at what’s to come. The preview showed Haru reuniting with her ex-boyfriend, Kent, and dealing with a rambunctious Sealeo at the resort. Overall, it looks to be a fun and emotional batch of new episodes for the show.

If you haven’t checked outPokémon Concierge, you may want to give it a watch before the new episodes drop this Fall.The series follows Haru, a woman who becomes a concierge at a Pokémon resort. It is a comedic stop-motion animated show that occasionally tugs at the heartstrings with more emotional moments. It’s also a lot of fun to see models of Pokémon like Psyduck and Mudkip created for stop-motion animation.

6The Misadventures Of Sirfetch’d & Pichu Is In Development

The Misadventures Of Sirfetch’d & Pichu Is A New Animated Series

Pokémon Conciergeisn’t the only Pokémon stop-motion animated show coming out. It was revealed today that legendary animation studio Aardman,ofWallace & Gromitfame, will be creating anew Pokémon series calledPokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu. The show will be coming out in 2027.

While the show is still in development, we did get a quick look at some fun animation that shows off Aardman’s signature sense of humor.The show will be told from the perspective of Pokémon, an interesting change of pace from other series. There isn’t much known about it now, but this will be an exciting one to keep an eye on as more gets revealed.

5New Mega Evolutions For The Pokémon Trading Card Game

Pokémon Presents Previewed New Art For Several Mega Evolutions In The Upcoming Set

Pokémon Presents also showed off some new cards from the upcomingMega Evolutionsetfor thePokémon Trading Card Game.This includes special art treatments for Mega Lucario, Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Gardevoir, and Mega Venusaur. There are also special art treatments for Bulbasaur and Ivysaur that combine with Mega Venusaur to create a cohesive picture.

All these new art treatments are Secret Rares, meaning they will be a bit harder to find. It might be especially hard to assemblethe full Bulbasaur evolution line of all Secret Rares. We’ll have to see what the secondary market ends up being like forMega Evolutionto see how easy it will be to buy singles of these cards.

4Pokémon Friends Is A New Puzzle Game

Pokémon Friends Is Available On Switch 2, Switch, And Mobile

Pokémon Friendsis a new puzzle gamethat you can play right now on Switch 2, Switch, iOS, and Android. You complete puzzles to unlock in-game plush, which you can use to decorate rooms. The game’s puzzles appear to be friendly for younger players, but can still be a fun distraction for all ages.

The game features over 1,200 puzzles, and there are 150 plush to collect. These don’t appear to be limited to the original Pokémon, despite the coincidental number. The trailer shows plush for Pokémon like Piplup and Sprigatito as well.

3Pokémon Champions Is A New Way To Battle

Pokémon Champions Is Coming In 2026

Pokémon Championsis a new way to battle Pokémon, which is reminiscent of theoldPokémon Stadiumgames. Similar to those games,Pokémon Championsfeatures full 3D battles where you assemble a team and then pick a select few Pokémon to battle with from that team. However, there are a lot of new features that makePokémon Championsan exciting update to the old style of games.

Pokémon Championslinks toPokémon Home, meaning you can use your expertly raised and trained Pokémon right away if you don’t want to train up new ones. You can also recruit Pokémon directly inPokémon Champions, which has some unique training features. You can pick moves and even swap points between different stats to completely customize your Pokémon the way you like.

With so much flexibility in how you can train Pokémon and assemble teams,Pokémon Championsis one of the most interesting ways to battle Pokémon. You will be able to play the game on Switch 2, Switch, and mobile devices when it comes out. The planned release is sometime in 2026 as of now.

2Pokémon Legends: Z-A Reveals New Mega Evolution

Mega Dragonite Was Revealed During Pokémon Presents

Today’s Pokémon Presents also gave us some major updates onPokémon Legends: Z-A, including a more in-depth look at the game’s story,as well as a new Pokémon. It appears that Pokémon in Lumiose City have started Mega Evolving on their own, something the game calls Rogue Mega Evolutions. This means you may have to face off against some very powerful wild Pokémon.

On thesubject of Mega Evolutions, it is now confirmed that we will be seeing at least one new Mega Evolution.Pokémon Legends: Z-Awill introduce the long-awaited Mega Dragonite, which shares some interesting characteristics with Dragonair. This is exciting because it could mean other rumored Mega Evolutions will also appear in the game.

We also learned that part ofyour goal in the game is to compete in the Z-A Royale, a series of Pokémon battles where you climb from rank Z to A by defeating increasingly powerful trainers. There are also quests you can get from residents of Lumiose City, and a variety of fun customization options for your trainer and some of your Pokémon. I’m certainly more excited aboutPokémon Legends: Z-Aafter seeing all the new content coming.

1Pokémon Presents Showed Off Updates For Existing Games

There Is A Lot Of New Content Coming To Pokémon Titles

Aside from reveals about upcoming games and shows, today’s Pokémon Presents also included some updates for games that have already come out. For example, we learned thatPokémon GoFest 2025’sMax Finaleevent will take place from August 23 to 24. During this time, Max versions of Pokémon like Gengar and Snorlax will be appearing.

We also learned thatCarmine and her Sinistcha will be joiningPokémon Masters EXon July 29. We’re also getting new additions toPokémon Café ReMix, including a five-star sea captain Lapras outfit, which will be added on July 23. There will also be new crew outfits for Alolan Meowth, Totodile, and Minccino to go along with it.

Pokémon Sleepis also getting some new Pokémon in the form of Johto’s legendary beasts, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, which are coming sometime in September 2025. It will be followed by a new Amber Canyon area in November. Finally,Pokémon UNITEis also getting a few new Pokémon. Latios is joining on June 24, 2025, followed by Latias on August 8.
