Dungeons and Dragonsjust held an announcement stream where it revealed tons of exciting content coming to the tabletop role-playing game. Among its exciting reveals was a roadmap of newDungeons and Dragonsbooks coming out through the end of 2023.
The announcement was during the Wizards Presents stream. During the reveal, Wizards of the Coast outlined the futures of bothDungeons and DragonsandMagic: The Gatheringfor the next couple of years.

Five new books were announced for the upcoming year. Though details were sparse, players have gotten sneak previews of some things coming in the new releases throughDungeons and Dragons’playtest material, Unearthed Arcana.
This lineup does not includeDragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen, a new campaign book set in the land of Krynn, which is scheduled to release in late 2022. Additionally, Wizards of the Coast announcedOne D&D, an evergreen evolution of5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons, begins in 2024 with a revamped release of thePlayer’s Handbook,Dungeon Master’s Guide, andMonster Manual. Between this andDungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieveshitting theaters in 2023, it is an exciting time to be aD&Dfan.
Players are excited to learn more about the upcoming releases in 2023.Dungeons and Dragonsplayers always love having more character options, and giants and the Deck of Many Things are amazing sources of inspiration for them.Lost Mines of Phandelveris one of the best adventuresWizards of the Coast has released, so an expansion of its story will be interesting to see. LikeSpelljammerandDragonlance, players have also been asking for a return to Planescape for years, so fans of the setting are elated to finally get to return to it. And as far asKeys from the GoldenVault is concerned, fewDungeons and Dragonsfans can say no to a good heist adventure.
