Bandai Namco Entertainment has been on a roll here lately, revealing new information left and right for its upcoming action RPG,Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. In the past week or two alone, the game publisher has given players their first looks at Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Vegito, and evenMajin Vegeta. The most recent reveal was the full world map of the game, which is expansive to say the least.

Earth itself is divided into several locations, roughly 19 of them, which are explored in theDragon Ball Z: Kakarotvideo below. It covers everything from Ginger Town, whereCell’s first formappeared, to small villages like that of the originalDragon Ball’s Nam the Peddler. It also includes the major cities associated with the anime, such as West City, to small, iconic places like Goku’s House and Kame House.

There are three areas for players to travel to that are not on Earth: King Kai’s World, Supreme Kai’s World, and Namek. It’s unclear just how often players could actually return to any of these areas, but that’s likely factored into the chronology of events. Players will spend time on Namek during the Frieza Saga, where players will also meet theDBZ: Kakarotoriginal character Bonyu, and players may spend time on King Kai’s World given the length that Goku spends training there early in the anime and later on.

Supreme Kai’s World won’t likely be available until near the end of the game, as it is where Adult Gohan travels to unlock his internal potential and fetch the Z-Sword, and it proves to be the final battle ground ofGoku and Kid Buu. Since Adult Gohan is playable, though, it seems likely the area will be more involved than some would expected.

Regardless, with the sheer amount of areas, it seems likeDragon Ball Z: Kakarotis shaping up to deliver on its promise of an in-depth DBZ game. At the very least, it seems sizeable enough to do so.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotis set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 06, 2025.
