We have the early scoop on where to find the vendor Xur and what exotic armor and weapons he has available toDestinyplayers for the weekend of October 28th.
It’s been a pretty big but also contentious week forDestinywith the launch ofFestival of the Lost. While this was supposed to be the first major event to rejuvenate the player base after the launch of Rise of Iron, Festival of the Lost has instead soured many players because ofmicrotransactions.
While most ofDestinyis busy trying to collect as many masks as they can in this year’s Festival of the Lost, Xur has returned to the Tower with some tricks and treats of his own. In fact, Xur’s timing couldn’t have been more perfect for big spenders in Festival of the Lost, especially those who unlocked one of the new Bad Juju ornaments.
This week,Destinyplayers can find Xur in Tower North next to the Speaker. It’s a regular hiding spot for Xur and most players should be plenty familiar with it by now. Those are not should simply head to the left after spawning in, follow the path down a couple sets of stairs, and Xur will be in the very back against the railing overlooking Earth.
Without burying the lede too much, Xur is selling the Bad Juju pulse rifle as his exotic weapon this week. Since this week also saw the release ofnew Bad Juju ornamentsit only makes sense that Xur ensure everyDestinyplayer that wants a Bad Juju gets one. He also has the awesome Moonglow ornament for Hawkmoon, but the 25 silver dust price tag is going to be very steep for most.
On the armor front, Xur has the Eternal Warrior helmet for Titans, the Achlyophage Symbiote helmet for Hunters, and the Skull of Dire Ahamkara helmet for Warlocks. Three helmets, but the only one worth picking up in our opinion is the Symbiote. An extra golden gun shot can be very useful, especially in PvP, butchanges to the super drain on golden guntypically mitigates the advantage.
