While most do it simply for entertainment, a few luckyDestiny 2PvP players could see their time pay real-world dividends, including a motorcycle, a high-end gaming PC, and more. Rockstar Energy has a new promotionalDestiny 2contest that tracks how many games and kills registered players rack up in the Crucible.
For the “Rockstar Energy Crucible Challenge” a leaderboard has been set up that will ultimately reward those at the top when the challenge ends on March 11. Climbing up the leaderboard requires many hours spent in the Crucible, not necessarily a high amount of skill.

Points are gained by each game played, awarding 25 points for every completed game in theCompetitive or Quickplayplaylist. Every kill or assist adds an additional 1 point to that total.
As for the rewards, the first place player will win a custom builtDestiny 2themed motorcycle. The first, second, and third place players will nab PC gaming rigs from Alienware. And finally, the top ten players will receive a Collector’s Edition ofDestiny 2. This contest can only be won by those in the US, Canada, UK, and Germany.
It’s a fun competition for some real-world loot; however, it comes at a time whenDestiny 2is not at its best. The game’s PvP has seen some low player numbers, according to fan sites tracking player population using theDestiny 2API. Andsome analysts are countingDestiny 2completely outand beyond fixing. Many fans and content creators are taking a break from the game, waiting for Bungie to fix the game’s many shortcomings.
But regardless, those who are still engaged in the game will now have a chance at some big-ticket prizes. To enter and start gaining points, head over toRockstar’s contest page.
Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
