Today, Bungie finally unveiledCurse of Osiris, the first DLC expansion forDestiny 2that will release on December 5th. As its main selling point, Curse of Osiris will feature a new story starring Osiris the legendary Warlock, but it will also add tons of smaller items to the game.

While it would be nearly impossible to list everything that Curse of Osiris adds toDestiny 2, mostly because we don’t know everything that Bungie will add, there are a few things that caught our eye. Most notably, it appears thatDestiny 2players will be getting a selfie emote to capture all of their favorite moments.

The selfie emote makes a brief appearance in some PvP gameplay footage that was released after the initial Curse of Osiris reveal. It’s unclear how certain fans got their hands on the footage, but most will be glad they did because it offers even more details about Expansion 1.

From what we can tell, the selfie emote turns the player towards the camera as if they were using it as a smartphone. In the video, the player uses the selfie emote to watch as opponents flee from its nova bomb, but there are numerous applications for the emote.

For many players, the selfie emote will be a must-have because it makes it easier to capture those special moments inDestiny 2. In the past, players have had to try and emote and swing the camera around tocelebrate a raid clearor pose in a specific area, but the selfie emote removes all of that extra effort. On top of that, the selfie emote ensures that the player will be in the screenshot, which is the most important part.

While much of the content added with Curse of Osiris will require theExpansion Passor a standalone purchase, we would venture to guess that the selfie emote will be part of Season 2 forDestiny 2. That means all players should have the opportunity to buy the emote or unlock it via a Bright Engram, and it won’t be locked behind any DLC paywall. Of course, most players will buy into the DLC to access new story content, weapons, and more, but the selfie emote will be for everyone.

Destiny 2is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
