When Geoff Keighley revealed that both Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro would be at The Game Awards on December 7th, the show became can’t-miss viewing forDeath Strandingfans. Now Keighley has announced yet another celebrity that will be in attendance at the show this year, givingDeath Strandingenthusiasts even more reason to tune in. As it turns out,The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus, who is also portraying the main character inDeath Stranding, will be at The Game Awards.
The announcement came from Keighley’s Twitter account, which he previously used to reveal theinvolvement of Kojima and del Toro. Like Keighley’s previous announcements, his tweet is light on details, only revealing that Reedus will be at the show, but not confirming what many fans suspect: that Reedus, Kojima, and del Toro will be on hand to present new footage ofDeath Stranding.
Fans have been waiting to see substantial newDeath Strandingfootage since last year’s Game Awards, so this Thursday’s show marks the perfect time to finally unveil more on the game. However, if we do see more onDeath Strandingat The Game Awards, it remains to be seen if it is in the form of more cinematic clips or actual gameplay footage.
