Last month, it was announced that the next chapter in the asymmetrical multiplayer horror gameDead by Daylightwould add content based on Konami’s popularSilent Hillhorror game franchise. NowDead by Daylightfans can pick up the newSilent Hillchapter content, which adds Pyramid Head and more.

Upon purchasing theDead by DaylightSilent Hillcontent, fans can check out the Midwich Elementary School map, as well as play as both Pyramid Head (also known as The Executioner) and Cheryl Mason.

In celebration of theSilent Hillcontent launch, those that have yet to pick upDead by Daylightcan purchase the specialSilent Hill Editionof the game. TheSilent Hill EditionofDead by Daylightwill come with some rare outfits for bothPyramid Headand Cheryl Mason that players can customize their characters with.

Speaking of customization, theSilent Hillcontent also includes some new items that players can purchase from the store based on the franchise. This includes outfits based on Alessa Gillespie, Lisa Garland, Robbie the Rabbit, and more.

So far, theSilent Hillcontent is exclusive to the console and PC versions ofDead by Daylight, meaning those playingDead by Daylight Mobilewill be missing out. However, it’s quite likely that theSilent Hillcontent will be coming toDead by Daylight Mobileat some point in the future.

Looking forward, it will be interesting to see ifDead by Daylightadds more content from horror game franchises. Prior to theSilent Hillupdate, mostDead by Daylightcontent has revolved around horror movies or TV shows, likeStranger Things, instead of video games.

There are many horror game franchises that seem like they would make solid additions toDead by Daylight, like Capcom’sResident Evilor EA’sDead Space. However, nothing has been announced in regards to any other video game horror franchises making the jump toDead by Daylight. For now, horror game fans ofDead by Daylightcan check out theSilent HillChapterthat is available for PC and consoles now.
