Following SpaceX’s failed rocket launch on Wednesday, the official Twitter page forCyberpunk 2077issued a tweet teasing SpaceX in a hilarious and ironic way.
On Wednesday, the launch of theSpaceX Crew Dragonspacecraft was set to go off in Florida. However, inclement weather along Florida forced SpaceX to call off the mission, leading to a delay until Saturday afternoon. It was an unfortunate event, but it was likely a safe call to make before the next foray into Outer Space.

However, the postponement caused many to sound off across various social media sites. This includedCyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter page, which playfully teased the delay of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft on Wednesday afternoon.
This tweet does offer a moment of lightheartedness for everyone, both making light of the delayed launch and poking fun at the highly-anticipatedCyberpunk 2077,which received anotorious delay back in January. The game was delayed from April until September, which angered fans at the time. It had been said that the game was complete, but more time was desired to polish the game for as smooth sailing as possible. Fortunately, CD Projekt RED seems self-aware enough to recognize the frustration toward the delay and poke fun at itself in the process.
Overall, the delay of the SpaceX Crew Dragon mission was probably a good thing. Given past disasters involving the mismanagement of launches into space, it’s better to be safe than sorry when it comes to as tense events as spacecraft launches.
As forCyberpunk 2077, all appears to be on track thus far. No additional delays have been made to the game, and content previews have been trickling down steadily for the past few months. The game apparentlywon’t be available as a next-gen launch titleon PS5 or Xbox Series X. However, the Xbox One version ofCyberpunk 2077will be playable on the Xbox Series X.
