This follows leaks of theCyberpunk 2077Collector’s editionthat helped build hype for its July 18, 2025 release date, which has proven to be accurate concerning the content that comes with the beefed-up edition. So many will likely want to clear their calendars and prepare their wallets, especially after viewing the new cinematic trailer and everything it shows off, as this game looks to live up to CD Projekt Red’s legacy.

While this trailer maintains the game’s mysterious allure, it does show some story and relationships betweenCyberpunk 2077characters, with the focus clearly being on the protagonist V. It appears that something has gone horribly wrong, bringing the corporate police down on the character and highlights some of the cybernetic components related to the game.
It’s worth pointing out that, while the belowCyberpunk 2077trailer focuses on a male protagonist, players will have the choice between a male or female V when the game launches. The character designs are significantly different, so those who want one or the other have multiple reasons to choose, as there will be first and last name options and branching paths. The male V is voiced by Josh Keaton, and the female V is voiced by Cherami Leigh.
Considering that Cyberpunk 2077 was considered one of themost anticipated games of E3 2019, this Xbox trailer does much to live up to that hype and expectation.
