E3 2019 is here, and while there are plenty of games that will soon be announced, that doesn’t mean the recent torrent of leaks is completely finished.Cyberpunk 2077is one of the most anticipated games of the generation, and while fans got a45-minute gameplay demolast year, there has been relatively little info released about the game. However, a new leak appears to show off what fans will get with the game’s collector’s edition.
TheCyberPunk 2077collector’s edition appears to be pretty beefy, coming with a ton of goodies fans can show off to their friends. There’s a pretty sizeable statue included in the mix, and while the leaked images aren’t the best quality, it does look like it will be pretty detailed. Beyond that, there’s a healthy portion of the usual collector’s edition fare: a mini artbook, a collector’s steelbook, postcards, a map, and what appear to be some patches, among other things. The leak doesn’t show off a specific price point, but with the amount of stuff included it seems safe to assume that the collector’s edition will come with a pretty hefty price tag.
While the leak hasn’t been confirmed, it would take quite a bit of effort to fake a leak like this, as pointed out by Twitter user Nibellion. It seems pretty likely that this is the real deal, though it’s probably better to take this with a grain of salt, just in case. What’s particularly interesting about this is that game is likely nearing release if collector’s editions are already entering production, which may mean we get aCyberpunk 2077release dateat this year’s E3. It doesn’t seem very likely that the game will land this fall, but early 2020 seems like a very real possibility.
It’ll be interesting to see what new information surfaces forCyberpunk 2077throughout E3 2o19. It appears to be one of the most ambitious projects ever, and it’ll be interesting to see how CD Projekt RED translates theirWitcherexpertise into a future setting.Cyberpunk 2077 will likely have some major competition if it does launch in early 2020, but it seems like the project is primed to shake the games industry.
