Lord of the Mysteries' first season is looking to adapt the first novel of the series, which means for any web novel readers out there, it’s sure to be packed with information, withits first episode alone meant to adapt approximately 14 chapters. The cour will include 13 episodes and two special episodes that haven’t been revealed yet, and will all run about 30 minutes excluding the intro and outros. The author, Cuttlefish, is also very involved in the project, making sure that it adapts their work faithfully and accurately.
The project is backed by Tencent, a prevalent multinational company, and animated by B.C May Pictures, which has worked onThe King’s Avatarand theMaster of Diabolism. These donghua are not only known for their exceptional adaptations, but their fluid and dynamic animation, and based onLord of the Mysteries’ current trailers, it looks like the studio is taking it to a whole new level.
