If the many leaks and rumors turn out to be correct, big things appear to be on the horizon forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. While getting a dedicated Battle Royale mode is likely on the top of many fans wish lists, some continue to worry that introducing this may have adverse effects on the overall game. It’s been well documented that the title hasstruggled with its fair share of glitchesand bugs since it launched, with some even causing major problems for players. For now, the latest patch thankfully resolves a number of problematic bugs for players.
Yesterday, Infinity Ward released the latest update forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. While a smaller update, a number of nagging issues were able to be resolved including one major issue in a popular mode that has just returned.

Last week, thelimited time mode 2v2 Gunfight Tournamentarrived back into the game, promising new exclusive rewards like the Cover Me and Death Awaits calling cards, Bloodiest Diamond charm, and the Riptide M7 blueprint among other things. However, the mode has seemingly brought a bug with it as users are reporting an error message appearing during a match. The connection problem known as Jockworth is thankfully resolved as of this week’s patch.

GENERAL FIXES:
The patch wasn’t the only update this week as a new content release arrived a day earlier. Unfortunately, it removed 2XP from playlists but it also added some highly requested content as well. Just like theModern Warfare 2days, players can now1v1 on the recently added Rust map. The Flotation Oxidation playlist received Rust and Shipment, the Reinforce game mode was also added, and players in Ground War can now battle on the Tavorsk District.
