Acrossover betweenCrypt of the NecroDancerandThe Legend of Zeldamay sound odd on paper, butCadence of Hyrulehas had rave reviews so far. However, sinceCadence of Hyruleis essentially aZelda-themed take onCrypt of the NecroDancer, someZeldaveterans may be having trouble getting used to some aspects of the game.
For example, Deku Seeds serve as a form of currency inCadence of Hyrule, and the game isn’t super clear about who players can talk to in order to trade them. As it turns out,Cadence of Hyruleplayers need to meet with Tingle in order to trade Deku Seeds, so here’s where to find Tingle in the game and how to get Deku Seeds.

How to Get Deku Seeds
BeforeCadence of Hyruleplayers need to worry about finding Tingle, they will need some Deku Seeds to trade.Cadence of Hyruleplayers will need 10, and they can collect them on their journey. Deku Seeds are obtained from Deku Scrubs, so be sure to collect as many as possible while playing through the game.
Where is Tingle
After collecting 10 Deku Seeds, the next step is finding Tingle. As it turns out, Tingle is found in the Lost Woods, but sinceCadence of Hyruleuses a randomly-generated map, we can’t say where exactly any given player will find their version of the Lost Woods. Once The Lost Woods have been found, players should be able to head south and they will find an area with a tree stump that has a sleeping Tingle inside.
Players then have to complete a simple rhythm puzzle to wake Tingle up. Speaking with Tingle will getCadence of Hyruleplayers the Dowser item. Speak to him again and, assuming players have 10 Deku Seeds, he will double one’s magic meter. Needless to say, this is very helpful for anyone trying to complete therecently released Switch-exclusive game.
