Borderlands 4’s New Release Date Is A Bit Sooner

It’s Rare For A Game Release To Get Moved Up

Borderlands 4’s new release date is a little less than two weeks soonerthan originally planned. This year was purportedly going to see a lot of video game publishersavoid committing to a release date untilGTA 6had one. The change in release date appears to be from how well development is progressing on the title, but it could also be because Pitchford is aware of a more specificGTA 6window or date, or becauseGhost of Yoteiis releasing on October 2. Any influence of other game releases on the change is, of course, just speculation.

The State of Play on April 30 is scheduled for 20 minutes andwill show developer-guided gameplay, including missions, weapons, skills, new and returning characters, and more. The broadcast will be livestreamed on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
