Every time any major news comes out about a Blizzard game, rumors always start to swirl around that Blizzard is going to start charging for Battle.net. Since I had never heard any official statement, I decided to find out for myself what the deal was.
I spoke to Chris Sigaty, the Lead Producer ofStarCraft II, and asked him if Blizzard is, was, or will ever plan on charging for Battle.net. His answer?
“Battle.net will not be a pay service. By buying the game, you will be able to match and play with other people.”
