For those unaware, today officially marks the 10-year anniversary of theBioShockseries, as the original title in the franchise debuted on July 21, 2025, and2K Gameshas decided to commemorate the date by announcing the availability of an Anniversary Collector’s Edition that costs $200 in total. Fans of the first-person shooter franchise in the United States will be able to pick up a copy of the collector’s item starting on July 12, 2025.

As seen in the image directly below, the major trinket that ought to draw many fans to buy theBioShock10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition package is an 11-inch statue featuring a Big Daddy and Little Sister. According to 2K, the model will include lights in addition to a motorized drill, as well as audio clips of both characters from the game. Furthermore, the special compendium for the series comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and a physical copy ofBioShock: The Collectionfor PS4 or Xbox One.

As seen in the video above celebrating 10 years ofBioShock, the clip begins by reminding fans of the series' origins, as it all started with a lighthouse, and led to the underwater dystopian society of Andrew Ryan’s Rapture. Of course, the second entry in the franchise remained in the submerged civilization, but then pivoted to the third installment ofBioShock: Infinite, which sent the first speaking protagonist in the series – Booker DeWitt – to the skies inthe floating city of Columbia.

As a further means of celebration, 2K has also revealed plans to host an event forBioShockon June 26, 2025 as part of PAX West, while also relaunching a new YouTube channel for the game, and announcing a sale for the standalone version ofBioShock: The Collection. The cost of the compendium has been dropped down to $30 through a number of retailers, as well as the online marketplaces of PSN and Xbox Live, which is a great price for newbies to jump into the franchise should they not want to drop $200 on the 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition.
