Major retailer Best Buy unveiled official images of what fans would expect by pre-ordering a physical copy ofPersona 5 Strikers.The exclusive pre-order bonus in question is a peculiar one as it is a bonus that has been a staple in all major retailers starting withPersona 5.

It was assumed a while ago that the Nintendo Switch version was the only versionto obtain a steelbookas a preorder bonus for the physical release. According to Twitter user Wario64, it seems that the Sony PlayStation version will also have an exclusive steelbook bundled in with the base game as a freebie.
SomePersonafans who were no strangers to pre-orders were left scratching their heads as the steelbook version was always a guarantee unrelated to the retailer in the past. Each retailer may have hadtheir own unique pre-order bonuses, but a steelbook version was always expected. While it would appear that the steelbooks are indeed Best Buy exclusive, major gaming retailer GameStop has its own pre-order bonus in the form of an exclusive Joker pin.
What’s even more interesting to note is that the PS4 steelbook has a “$19.99 value.” This is in comparison to the Switch steelbook which has a mere “$9.99 value,” according to the individual entries on the Best Buy marketplace. Of course, maybe it’s for the best that one retailer is responsible for the steelbooks as not torepeat aPersonasteelbook blunder of the past.
