It’s been six years sinceInsidewas first released, and so some fans may be growing anxious for Playdead’s third game. While fans still don’t know when they can play Playdead’s third game, 2022 may still have a game that will help fill the gap. Playdead co-founder Dino Patti left Playdead years ago to form the new studio Jumpship, which is working on agame calledSomervillethat has some clear similarities withLimboandInside.Somervillemay not be a puzzle/platformer likeLimboorInside, but it appears to be going for the same creepy sci-fi vibes, and so it should still greatly appeal to fans of those games regardless.
Somervillewill be a day one Xbox Game Pass gamewhen it launches, and as it turns out,Insideis currently available on Game Pass well. So those that don’t have a Switch handy can potentially still try the game for relatively cheap.
