Ironmouse’s Story Reveals Many Details About Their Questionable Practices

On July 27, 2025, IronMouse, a VTuber andwinner of 2023’s Game Awards, uploaded avideo to her YouTube accountrevealing that she had ended her partnership with VShojo. Having worked under their brand since October 2020 and seen exponential growth in her career, IronMouse took this decision after learning that the company had allegedly embezzled money raised for charity.

These funds were supposed to go to the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF), a non-profit that researches and helps patients with Common Variable Immune Deficiency. IronMouse has been a vocal supporter of this group, as she has had this condition since she was born. The Vtuber has never hidden how much the foundation means to her.

Through her years with the company, IronMouse had raised more than $500,000 aimed at helping the IDF continue its work. According to her video, VShojo never transferred these funds to the foundation, allegedly keeping the money for themselves. This revelation caused her to immediately leave the company, with the full support of her millions of fans.

After IronMouse brought her issues with VShojo to light, other VTubers decided to leave the company in solidarity with her.Big names in the industry, such as AmaLee, Kson, Kuro, and Melody, announced they had walked awayfrom the company shortly after the controversy became known online, vocalizing their support for IronMouse.

AmaLee had only just joined VShojo at the beginning of the year, on June 23, 2025.

Without talent and with such damning allegations against them, it is hard to envision a bright future for VShojo. Other influencers like Shylily have also shared their disappointing experiences, claiming that they were offered unfair contracts. It seems unlikely that VShojo will be able to recover, as this event will likelychange the anime and VTuber industries forever.
