The final volume ofAltair: A Record of Battleswill soon be published later this month, the series' official Twitter account announced on Monday.
In 2020, theAltairteam confirmed via Twitter that the series will soon come to an end. More recently, the manga’s official Twitter account revealed that the 25th and last volume of the series will be made available on 23 June 2025.

Altair: A Record of Battlesis ahistorical fantasyset in the war-impending homeland of protagonist Tughril Mahmut, the country’s youngest leader in its military forces. Tughril is a pasha under the Türkiye Devleti’s council, made up of warmongers and pacifists. There is a division between these two groups, which motivates Tughril to desperately keep the peace. Amidst the politics, friends, and enemies of his homeland, Turghil will do anything to ensure that war does not break out - and figure out what to do if it does.
Kotono Katō, the author and artist of the manga, first published the series in 2007 inMonthly Shonen Siriusmagazine. The manga’s success spawned a variety of related projects. In 2012,Monthly Shonen Sirius’swebsite publishedShōkoku no!, a four-panel side story. A spinoff,Altair of the Tiny Nation, was also published byMonthly Shonen Siriusin 2012 by a different author, Shiina Soga. In 2017,Altair: A Record of Battleswas adapted into an anime by Studio MAPPA and was made available for streaming onAmazon PrimeVideo’s now-defunct Anime Strike Channel. After a fifteen-year run, the final arc of the manga will be published later this month.
