If you’ve everlooked at the ingredients section ofDisney Dreamlight Valley’s ‘Collections’ menu,you will have seen exactly how many ingredients there are in the game. It’s a lot, but some of them are far easier to get than others.
While some ingredients can be found on the ground or in the various fauna ofDreamlight Valleyand the DLC locations, a lot of the ingredients will need to be grown on your very own farm. It can be hard to differentiate between the two in the ingredients list, but don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.
How to buy crops in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Crops can be purchased from Goofy’s Stalls around the Valley, Eternity Isle, and Storybook Vale. Seeds are more common, but you can occasionally find fully grown versions for sale at an increased price.
While it may take significantly longer, it’s worth purchasing the seeds for each crop and growing them yourself. Not only does this save you money at the time of purchase, it can also have a positive effect on the selling price of anyrecipesyou go on to make using the grown ingredients.
All crops in Disney Dreamlight Valley
With the introduction of theStorybook ValeDLC, there are a total of 44 crops that can be grown inDisney Dreamlight Valleyand both expansions. That’s one hell of a varied farm, and many ingredients to get to grips with.
With specific growth times, costs, and locations to purchase each crop, this could easily get confusing. Don’t worry, though. I’ve outlined the different types of home-grown crops below, as well as everything you need to know about each.
It’s worth noting thatplanting a crop in the same location where it was purchased will reduce the growth time listed here by 10%.
Base game crops
Of the 44 different crops inDisney Dreamlight Valley, 21 of them are available to everyone, even if you don’t own either of the expansions. These were originally only available in the Valley, but some have since become available to purchase in locations that are part of one or both expansions.
Rift in Time crops
TheRift in TimeDLC added 12 new crops to be grown, each of which is only found in locations included as part of the DLC. You can also purchase some of the above-listed base-game crops at select locations from theRift in TimeDLC.
Storybook Vale crops
Storybook Valeadded 11 new crops to the mix, and they can only be purchased atStorybook Valelocations. However, some crops that were originally only sold in base-game locations are now available to purchase in a fewStorybook Valeareas.
