While we were writing it, I felt like I was writing it to direct it. I could see every shot in my head… I think women carry a lot of self-doubt and we have a desire to make everything perfect before we attempt something, or we learn everything we can learn. You want to really check the boxes and go, am I prepared for this? And at a certain point you have to just take the leap and believe in yourself.
