The show follows the lives of several offspring of famous Bravolebrities like Ariana Biermann, Brooks Marks, Gia Giudice, and Riley Burruss. Brooks, Riley, Gia, and Arianaare joined by friends Ava Dash, Emira D’Spain, Shai Fruchter, Georgia McCann, Hudson McLeroy, and Charlie Zakkour as they navigate their careers, personal lives, and, of course, family drama as young adults living in New York City. Brooks, Gia, Riley, and Ariana go way back, as they’ve all met through the Bravo world. While their moms may have put them in the spotlight,the kids are proving that they’ve got the reality TV chops to make it on their own. Viewers have watched Ariana grow up onRHOA, as she made her premiere on the show back in 2008 when she was just 5 years old. Back then, Ariana and her sister, Brielle Biermann, were the young daughters of Kim, who was an original cast member.
Brielle and Ariana were featured prominently on the show throughout their mother’s time on the cast.
Kim married former football player Kroy in 2011 and welcomed four more children together. Kim and Kroy’s messy divorce dominated headlines in recent years, as the two have had contentious fights over money, often caught on camera.
Ariana is desperate to escape the drama in Atlanta, so she headed to New York to make her dreams of having her own fashion line a reality. She revealed in the season premiere that she had been doing brand deals since she was 14, and was making lots of money doing social media. Sadly, Ariana didn’t see a dime, as her parents, Kim and Kroy, took her money. She doesn’t know what happened to it or even how much she had. Ariana recently found out, saying, “Nobody was honest about it. There was no transparency.”

Ariana and her boyfriend, who comes from money, are trying to support themselves, and Kim bragged about drinking the same $200 bottle of wine that he had enjoyed, which angered Hudson. Ariana went on to say that their family home was in danger of being taken away, and she left Atlanta because of all the lies.
Ariana admitted that hermom, Kim, asks her for money, and she often gives it to her, which is causing problems in her relationship with Hudson. Hudson said it upset him that Kim still asked Ariana for money, and he said that Ariana should put her foot down. Kim has already taken all of Ariana’s money, so he doesn’t think she’s entitled to more. Ariana, on the other hand, has sympathy for her mom because she has four other kids to take care of. Ariana also revealed she sometimes doesn’t tell Hudson when Kim asks for money.

Brooks is also a model in his own right, but still, he has felt pressure as the son of a reality star to be taken seriously.

Brooks is currently creative director for his mom’s company, buthe longs to make it on his own. He said that his dream is to style a magazine cover, without his mom’s involvement. Kandi Won’t Support Riley’s Music Dreams Forever
Riley is one of the more unassuming cast members onNext Gen NYC. She’s less vocal than the others, and she’s moved to NYC from Atlanta to pursue her dreams of being a DJ. With a mom like Kandi, one of the most accomplished Housewives who’s written countless number one hit songs,Riley’s draw to music makes sense. Kandi was a member of the R&B group Xcape in the 90s and has written songs like “Bills, Bills, Bills,” by Destiny’s Child, “There You Go” by Pink, and “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran, among many others.
With all of Kandi’s experience in the music business, one would think she would be supportive of her daughter’s dreams. But Kandi is firm with Riley:Riley will only get one year of financial supportbefore Kandi cuts her off. The pressure is on for Riley to make her way in the music industry, and fill her mom’s big shoes, before her lack of funds sends her back to Atlanta.
Charlie Zakkour Dated An A-List Actress
Charlie is being set up as the show’s resident bad boy. Not only does he openly smoke marijuana and is covered in tattoos, he’s also a ladies' man who gets into hot water when he asks Brooks' sister Chloe on a date and then proceeds to make a crude joke about Chloe to Brooks. Charlie’s dad is a successful retired banker who finances his son’s cryptocurrency business, soCharlie isn’t exactly trying to climb to the top of the business ladderon his own merit.
While more will be revealed about Charlie and his background, one shocking tidbit slipped during the premiere. Apparently,Charlie once dated Lindsay Lohan. Charlie confirmed his romance with the A-list actress, saying they dated back when he was in high school. “She would like, pick me up from school. Oh yeah, my high school loved that sh*t,” Charlie said with a smile.

Brooks is the bridge between Riley and Ariana, as he’s very friendly with both. Brooks asks Riley if she knows Ariana, since the two appeared onRHOAas young girls together. Riley says that yes, she knew Ariana back in the day, but hasn’t seen her since the two were preteens.Riley’s mom Kandi and Ariana’s mom Kim had a falling out, which played out onRHOAseason 3, over music they’d done together, and since the moms weren’t friends anymore, neither were the daughters.
Still, both Ariana and Riley are open to reconnecting now that they’re adults living in the same city.Riley admitted that they’re probably both so different from how they were as children, it’s almost like they don’t know each other at all.
